Conference Venue
The conference will take place at the University of Birmingham’s Edgbaston Campus, a distinguished academic setting situated approximately three miles from Birmingham city centre.
The campus combines a historic setting with modern teaching, research and conference facilities, providing an ideal environment for the conference.
The principal conference venue will be the Aston Webb Building, one of the University of Birmingham’s most prominent and architecturally distinctive buildings. The building forms an important part of the University’s historic campus.
The conference programme will be centred in the Aston Webb Building, with additional sessions taking place in the Physics West Building and the Bramall Music Building. All three venues are located within the Edgbaston Campus and are within convenient walking distance of one another.

Car Parking
The nearest parking facility is the North East Multi-Storey Car Park (postcode B15 2SA). The car park is less than a five-minute walk from the conference venue.
Parking is pay and display for day visitors. Guests staying at Edgbaston Park Hotel can park free of charge on the ground floor.

The Barber Institute of Fine Arts
*The Barber Institute is currently closed for refurbishment, but is expected to be open during the conference dates

The University of Birmingham has been home to many pioneering researchers,
academics, and innovators since its foundation. As you explore the campus, look out for the Blue Plaques, which celebrate the remarkable individuals whose achievements have helped shape the University's history and reputation as a leading research institution.
You can also discover the University's impressive collection of public art by following the Campus Sculpture Trail. Featuring a variety of styles and
subjects, the trail includes the striking Faraday bronze sculpture, commissioned to commemorate the centenary of the University of Birmingham's Royal Charter. The sculpture is located near University Station and is one of many artworks to enjoy across the Edgbaston campus.
